ÄON I 2023

Memories - whether of a person, a place, or a moment - are characterized by their fleetingness. Similar to a photo, they fade with each passing year and appear before the inner eye only as vague shadowy images of days gone by. Objects of remembrance seem to put a stop to this fleetingness and provide support, especially in times of mourning. It seems as if a connection between the relatives and the deceased person can be established with the memory and the actual loss can be overcome, at least temporarily.
